Recent Favorites: Beauty

Recent Beauty Favourites

Here are a few beauty favourites I've been loving recently.

This foundation has been my go-to lately, the coverage is medium to full and build-able. This foundation leaves my skin looking natural and not totally matte which I prefer. It covers my blemishes and lasts all day long! I rarely have to touch up as well. I recommend this foundation to anyone with blemishes who likes a full coverage look.

Recently tried this primer, it has a matte texture to it and easily buffs into the skin before my foundation. I like how it controls my oil and keeps my makeup in place for the entire day! It also tames any redness which is a plus.

Ahh, Finals!

Tips to Help Get Through Finals
Finals are just about to begin, or for some are just starting. What a not so wonderful time of year...Here are some things I do when I'm stressed out that help me get through the last few weeks of the semester, with FINALS. These may vary for some, but are just a few things that I find help!
1. Get a good nights sleep
Trust me, sleep makes all the difference. It gives your head a rest and your body some time to re-charge. If you can't sleep late at night, take a nap during the day. Any little bit of extra sleep will help. This will help your studying so much more. You will learn better when your not exhausted and running on little rest. Take this bit of time for your self and hit the books when your awake, feeling recharged and fresh.

All About the Pants

Coloured Bottoms
Coloured pants were a big trend a few years ago, and I think they can make a comeback. When I recently went through my closet I noticed 8 pairs of black bottoms and only dark denim. I knew I needed a change. Black Friday just happened so as any fashion lover would, I went to a few stores that I knew had sales going on. I was lucky enough to grab a pair of my favourite pants from Zara at 30% off! Okay, sooo they may not be bright and stand out but at least they are not black. I am so in love with these forest green pants that I haven't been able to take them off! Maybe its because they remind me of an Elf and Christmas is around the corner.. BUT these pants are great for adding some extra colour to a black and white wardrobe like mine. I paired these pants today with a fuzzy sweater and some knee high boots! I already feel the winter wind and I don't think Im ready for it.
